Cameroon - June 2017

News cameroun 0617

An article from Mongabay, a website specialized in environmental sciences and conservation, highlights our actions and achievements in Cameroon.

The Cameroonian NGO ERuDeF (Environmental and Rural Development Foundation) is fighting to save the last great apes from the Lebialem highlands. Its commitment has already led to the creation of the Tofala Hill Sanctuary.

Man & Nature is supporting ERuDeF to develop income-generating activities for the surrounding communities. Beekeeping, pig farming and processing of agricultural products are different economic alternatives that have already been implemented. Since this article, a project to develop the palm oil sector has been launched and is already showing interesting results!
